“ Cute hole-in-the wall Korean restaurant. The owner/staff were sweet and attentive. Everyone ordered the hangover stew (haha can you guess why?), and it was delicious. Exactly what we needed after a long night! ”
“ Korean restaurants in Vegas and here and there. They're good, but not quite ktown LA level of good. With that being said, E-Jo does a nice job at comfort food. I opted for a hangover soup with brisket and sponge and phew, it could probably cure hangovers if I had any. It had good flavor and the side dishes were pretty decent. So would I eat here again if I still lived in Vegas? Every now and then yeah, it does a solid job of satiating that Korean food craving. Parking is located in a sorta sketchy lot behind the restaurant, but you should *mostly* be safe. ”
“ One of our favorite spots in Vegas for a hangover cure. Located on the North side of Vegas. The restaurant is clean and staff friendly and attentive. Haven't been here for ages so, we tried various soups::: Ox tail soup::: Awesome!! Dumpling and rice cake soup::: Fantastic! Tripe, tendon, and beef brisket soup::: that was perfect for me after partying on the strip for a few days. I tripe and tendon. Cabbage soup with beef::: that was delicious. Filled with dry cabbage in a thick broth along with some beef. Pan Chan::: Kimchi here is legit! Overall, their broth is thick and you can tell it's been simmering. If you're looking for Good quality Korean soup. This is the spot. ”
“ Came here on lunch for Saturday and the place was empty other than our party. So service was quick. The soups are presented bland so you can add the flavoring yourself (bean paste, salt). A little disappointed there is no banchan other than kimchi and radishes, but overall still a good experience and would give it another chance. ”
“ The first time we came here because I didn't want pho (been here twice now). After getting the hangover soup, I knew this place would a new addition to the Vegas food rotation. Hangover soup with brisket (note: the sponge is blood). I love this because it's just veggies and thin brisket. Easy to eat and digest! Beef tongue soup is delicious as well. The tongue is sliced thinly and so tender. Their cabbage kimchi is good too. Put it in the empty bowl they give you and cut them up with the scissors. ”
“ My review of the place remains the same BUT when I came today there is NO AC!! Just fans. It was a borderline moment of being hesitant to eat there. But like a good Korean I sucked it up and stayed. Koreans are seen eating hot soup on hot days. Traditionally Sam gye tang but as my partner says Koreans just like to self torture themselves so that's why we do it. Anyways they do have cold noodles here although not on their menu it's on their wall. They have naegmyun and bibim naengmyun for those trying to eat to cool down. The owner is still kind and servicing in a shy vibe. The soup is still great. The one day fermented kimchi is still delicious as I wrap my rice. The ggakdugi is also your standard. Broth is still full of flavor umami and not oily. It hits the spot for good gom tang. ”
“ Quick summary: No frills Korean spot for delicious seolleongtang. Definitely a locals spot with pleasant service. Me and my friend came for some comfort food and ordered the #2 seolleongtang with all the meats. Before the meal came, we were brought a big bowl of radish kimchi, cabbage kimchi, some cut peppers, lots of green onions, rice, and a few sauces to dip our meats into. We both thought noodle soup was delicious! Great flavor with a nice quantity and variety of meats. We left very full and satisfied. The interior isn't anything particularly special, but it's homey and definitely feels like a nice spot by locals, for locals. The ladies working there were so sweet and gave us pointers on how to use the sauces. ”
“ I've been here twice now and each time I am reminded of how much I love this place! Definitely a must whenever I'm in Vegas. It's located a bit away from the strip but so worth the drive. There's plenty of parking. Inside the restaurant, you are always greeted by the sweetest workers. Food: Big fan of their sul lung tang and their hangover soup. I'm pretty picky when it comes to soups but both of these hit just right. I honestly think their hangover soups is probably one of the best hangover soups I've tried in a really long time. Would highly recommend!! ”
“ Can't pass this place when I am in Las Vegas. As expected, it was good. Always get the same menu over and over and can't go wrong with it. It was my first time visit today 12/15/2022 in four years. Thursday in the late morning, only one table was being served. As I stepped in, four more tables were filled. But the service was never slow and the wait was not at all long to get the food on the table. Price has gone up since four years ago, but everywhere else is too. I think it was more like $13.99 for the salkogi before but now it's $18.99. I am glad it's still under $20. ”
“ Wrapped up a weeklong stay in Vegas with some homemade Korean food. Ordered galbi (short ribs) and ggori gom tang (ox tail soup). I liked how they brought out two kinds of kimchi in separate containers so that you place on a kimchi plate along with scissors to cut them in smaller pieces. The galbi had a nice marinade and for the price, there was a mountain of beef. The ggori gom tang was everything I needed to end my trip in Vegas filled with chaos, debauchery, and sin. The bone broth was hearty and soothed my soul the minute I had a sip. Throw in a few mini spoons of salt and add the radish kimchi juice in to add some razzle dazzle to the dish. There was an ample amount of oxtails in the soup. All in all, we were full and satisfied. Parking lot is available in the back. ”
